GSK's Response to the Victorian Bushfires

Through the salary sacrifice program, we are proud to say that employees have raised $109,654.20 which the company has matched dollar for dollar with a final donation of $219,308.40 being made to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

We have worked with key agencies to coordinate a series of product and equipment donations:
• Panadol and Seretide for emergency medical centres
• Ventolin and spacers for asthma patients in affected areas
• Macleans toothpaste and toothbrushes to relief centres
• Hand sanitiser for volunteers in animal shelters
• Generators, disposable protective suits, dust mask and cleaning equipment for clean up activities

A blood drive has been coordinated through the Red Cross for employees located at Boronia. We have also redirected the GSK Save the Children Mobile Playbus to bushfire affected areas.

We will also be providing opportunities for our staff to personally help support the communities affected through an additional volunteer day.
